The Department of Transportation (DOT) is partnering with the Department of Defense, Labor, Veterans Affairs and the Small Business Administration to help military personnel and veterans transition from military training and job specialty skills acquired in the service to exciting careers in the transportation industry.

Links to local Department of Labor American Job Centers – Nearly 2,500 American Job Centers nationally offer employers assistance connecting with and recruiting veterans. Many Centers offer resources including specialized local Veterans’ Employment Representatives (LVERs) and Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Program (DVOP) staff who work solely with veteran populations and can provide relevant veteran applicant referrals. To get started accessing these services, locate your local American Job Center .
